Bandar Kinrara, up and coming Township in Puchong, it lies midway between Bukit Jalil Stadium and Subang Jaya.
At present, the number of household is about 7,000 and population is approximately 35,000. The overall development of Bandar
Kinrara is expected to grow to 18,000 households and projected population of 120,000.
In Bandar Kinrara master plan, there is a total 16 parcels of school reserved lands. As of year 2003, only 6
schools have been built, 10 parcels are still vacant and undeveloped. Even though they are plenty of school lands, yet the
residents still suffer in sending their children to certain Chinese Primary School which is located as far as 16km away from
Bandar Kinrara.
Over the past few years, the various Resident Associations in Bandar Kinrara have been receiving frequent queries
and concerns on the usage and status of the existing plot of land earmarked for primary school. As a result, the Resident
Associations decided to look into this matter and form a Pro-tem committee to forward the residents request to the relevant
authorities.
The general consensus of the residents in Bandar Kinrara would prefer a vernacular school within the vicinity
of the neighbourhood. This report aims to highlight the current scenarios and concerned of the lack of such facilities in
the township. With this objective in mind, the residents started to look into the beneficial impact of the development and
will act further for the benefit of the residents to ensure a balanced township, which can accommodate all sectors of the
community.

concerned can study the situation with a better understanding.
